Seriously, is it a six-peat? Well, whatever it’s called…we’re proud to say we did it!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 20, 2018
YORBA LINDA, CA – For the sixth straight year, California Waters, industry leading artisans specializing in commercial pools and spas, water features, splash pads and waterscapes, made the Orange County Business Journal’s (OCBJ) Fastest-Growing Private Companies list in the mid-size category ranking 75th in 2018.
“Even after 6 years, California Waters continues to achieve double digit revenue growth coming in at 19% with a much-streamlined workforce,” said Mark Pitman, DEC President. “This year’s award reflects a concerted effort by our design, construction and service divisions to deliver exceptional value and quality to our customers.”
According to OCBJ, in total, the 148 companies that made the list reported sales of $26.5 billion, about 40% higher than last year’s $19 billion in revenue among 157 companies listed. Healthy, fast-growing companies are vital to the growth of Orange County’s economy because they create new opportunities and generate a majority of new jobs for the area. The 77 mid-size private companies combined for $2.6 billion in revenue, up about 63%, and hired about 2,000 additional employees, up 46% to 6,393. Mid-size private companies, like California Waters, also comprised more than half of the total list. The Orange County Business Journal is a weekly print and online newspaper covering business in Orange County, California and is the second largest business journal in California.
