California Waters Makes OC’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies List for 4th Straight Year
Named to Orange County Business Journal’s 2016 Fastest Growing Small Companies List
YORBA LINDA, CA – For the fourth straight year, California Waters, a leader in the design-build, renovation and service of interactive water features, fountains and commercial pools, has been named to the Small Companies List of the Orange County Business Journal’s (OCBJ) list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies. Only 29 firms listed on the 2016 Small Companies List repeated from a year ago. Compiled annually, the list ranks the county’s top privately-held businesses by revenue and employee growth. Two-year revenue growth of 87% and a 48% increase in employees over the same time period accounts for California Waters higher ranking of No.28 in 2016 vs ranking at No. 58 in 2015.

According to OCBJ, in total, the 157 companies that made the list combined to boost revenue by more than 66% over the last two years to an estimated $15.4 billion. Healthy, fast-growing companies are vital to the growth of Orange County’s economy because they create new opportunities and generate a majority of new jobs for the area. The 60 firms on the 2016 list of small companies combined for a little more than $303 million in revenue, up 91% from 2014 with employment up 67% over the same time period.
