The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is set within a striking desert landscape surrounded by wildlife and natural scenery. Known for its focus on conservation, education, and immersive experiences, the zoo wanted to create a feature that would let guests cool off, interact with water, and enjoy a playful attraction that complemented the surrounding environment.
The result was the Oasis Splash Pad, a feature where water, light, and play meet in the heart of the desert. Designed as a dual-purpose attraction with aquatic elements from both Waterplay and Crystal Fountains, the splash pad captivates visitors both day and night. Offering families a refreshing escape from the desert heat through lively water effects and interactive elements during the day and transforms into a stage for colourful light shows and evening programming for special events at night.
