A charming seaside community, Montecito is home to Santa Barbara County’s most famous movers and shakers. It’s also home to Miramar, one of California’s most alluring and exclusive beaches. Take a stroll along Miramar’s pristine sand, and you’ll instantly notice its crowning jewel: the luxurious Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort.
Along with Rosewood’s many onsite amenities, guests enjoy the resort’s two exquisite pools and spa. When it came time to update these central features during an expansive remodel, The Caruso Group, owners of the Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort turned to California Waters.
For the resort’s 3,150 square-foot Cabana Pool catering to adults, the pool designer, Watershape Consulting, really thought outside the rectangle. This created an extremely complex construction challenge rarely encountered in commercial pools. California Waters was up to the task. Using exacting measurements and a relentless attention to detail, California Waters completed construction providing the resort with a uniquely scalloped, zero-edge pool that both soothes and surprises pool-goers with its edgy ambiance. Come evening, the Cabana Pool transforms into a colorful and energizing water-filled entertainment venue, with 26 remote-controlled lights interacting to create a delighful display.
For Rosewood’s 3,027 square-foot Manor Pool, the design intent was to create a family-friendly experience for swimmers of every age. Gently sloping from 3 ½ to 5 feet, this kid-approved skimmer pool reflects the resort’s luxurious surroundings as well as the blue skies above, with imported Bisazza stone tile used throughout. We finished the project construction with a generous spa that welcomes guests for a relaxing soak after an invigorating swim.
Throughout the project, our construction team worked around a dynamic schedule and multiple sub-contractors to meet very aggressive deadlines.
