The Palm Park Aquatics Center in Whittier, California served the recreational needs of local residents for nearly 30 years, but had not completed repairs to the pool’s deck since opening in 1990.
California Waters mobilized quickly to meet the facility’s summer grand re-opening deadline. With a slim 60-day window to meet the summer kickoff, over 300,000 gallons of water were drained, the existing pool deck and catch basins were demolished and replaced, and the pool re-plastered. Additional updates included installing new lights, starting blocks, and a new diving board.
