Inherent in the destination’s $1.1 billion transformation is a focus on creating a sense where shoppers immediately feel they have crossed the threshold into someplace special. Taking cues from the region’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle, five uniquely shaped reflection pools on the podium level create a “liquid glass” appearance reflecting both the adjacent landscaping and architecture nearby. Water flows over the entire length of the graphite colored custom GRFC panels and disappears between exotic elevated wood decking. Three of the water features showcase linear fire effects while the remaining pools have negative edge sections which give the appearance of mysterious openings in the still waters.
