Santa Ana College, established in 1915, is the fourth oldest junior college in the state of California. The brightly colored conical fountain was commissioned as a part of the school’s quad renovation to beautify the campus. Water continuously flows from the 10-foot center cone into the vividly patterned water basin encircling the base of the southwestern-themed water feature.
The fountain is the focal point of a beautiful area to relax, study or socialize. LED lights shine from beneath the rippling water to illuminate the entire fountain, creating a striking vision at dusk amid students and faculty attending evening classes at the college.
