Community Housing Opportunities Corporation’s newly completed redevelopment plan focuses on providing affordable housing in the Palm Springs area. A recent project included the renovation of 50 existing units and the addition of 60 new units in this Coachella Valley complex. With average temperatures hovering above 100° throughout the summer, CHOC placed a focus on ensuring residents could still enjoy the outdoors by including a splashpad from Waterplay by MAKR. Engineered and constructed by California Waters this 450 square foot splash pad includes multiple interactive and fun water play elements both above and at-grade, situated next to the new community building and tot lot.
