The Gonzales Community swimming pool renovation project required a massive restoration be accomplished in a very condensed amount of time, on a pool that had been out of commission for two years. Despite the challenges presented due to non-operation, it was critical to the city that the project be turned over within 5 months and be ready for the start of the summer swim season, ensuring that the children and families of the community would be able to enjoy their community pool again. And California Waters delivered.
The complete restoration consisted of the installation of new mechanical, plumbing, pump and heater. New plaster, tile and coping were also installed. A new pool deck and entryway to the pool complex along with an upgraded ADA bathroom and concession stand were also built, completing the facelift.
